the scent of rain

On board the Maid of Mist to experience the falls!

It was fun getting so close and hearing the thunderous sound of the falls. Really a magnificent sight!

The next morning we headed close to Niagara Falls and it was majestic.

The rainbow was so spectacular and breathtaking.

And because we were so close to the waterfall, it was also freezing. Braved the cold and took gorgeous photos.

After Watkins Glen state park, we headed onwards to Niagara. It was nightfall by then and it was so so so cold! I was not prepared for the cold at all.

Sunset was breathtaking that day.
